Privacy Policy
Effective date: 13 July 2026 · Amaze Puzzle app & website
The short version: Amaze Puzzle has no accounts and no sign-up. Your puzzle progress lives on your device and nowhere else. The one exception: the free app shows ads through Google AdMob, which involves an advertising partner — and you stay in control of that through a consent form. We never sell your data.
Who we are
Amaze Puzzle is made and published by Amaze Security BV, a company based in the Netherlands. We are the "data controller" for the limited processing described in this policy. Questions? Email us at [email protected].
No accounts, no profiles
Amaze Puzzle does not offer or require accounts. We do not ask for your name, email address, or any other personal details to play the game.
Gameplay data stays on your device
Your progress — which levels you have solved, your best times, and your settings — is stored locally on your device using the browser's / app's local storage (localStorage). This data:
- never leaves your device and is never sent to us or anyone else;
- is not linked to your identity;
- is deleted when you uninstall the app or clear the app's data.
Feedback you choose to send
The app has an optional "Send feedback" feature. If you use it, we receive only the message you type, plus the app version and platform (e.g. "Android"). Feedback is anonymous: it contains no identifiers, no account, and no contact details, and we cannot link it to you. Please don't include personal details in your message.
Advertising in the free app
The free version of the app shows advertisements served by Google AdMob, a third-party advertising service provided by Google. To serve ads (and to measure and prevent fraud), Google and its advertising partners may process:
- device identifiers, such as the Android advertising ID;
- your IP address and coarse (non-precise) location derived from it;
- basic device and app information (device model, OS version, app version).
We do not receive this data ourselves; it is processed by Google under its own terms. You can learn more in Google's Privacy Policy and manage ad personalisation for your Google account at adssettings.google.com.
Your consent (GDPR / TCF)
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, the app will ask for your consent before any personalised advertising happens, using Google's IAB TCF-compliant consent form. You can:
- decline personalised ads and see non-personalised (contextual) ads instead;
- change your mind at any time — open "Privacy options" in the app's menu to review or withdraw your consent choices;
- withdraw consent without it affecting your ability to play.
What we don't do
- We do not sell your personal data. Ever.
- We do not run our own analytics or tracking in the game.
- We do not collect your contacts, precise location, photos, or anything else unrelated to showing you a puzzle.
This website
The website you are reading (puzzle.amaze-apps.com) is a static site. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and collects no personal data. The playable demo on the homepage runs entirely in your browser.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, or object to the processing of your personal data, and the right to withdraw consent at any time. Because we hold no personal data about you ourselves, most requests are best handled through the in-app "Privacy options" screen or Google's tools linked above — but you can always contact us at [email protected] and we will help. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your data protection authority; in the Netherlands that is the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
Children
Amaze Puzzle is a picture puzzle suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children, and consent for advertising is handled through the consent flow described above.
Changes to this policy
If we ever change how the app or site handles data, we will update this policy and its effective date before the change takes effect.
